You're about learning Corruption, Types of Corruption, Causes & How to End it.
Corruption is the misuse of one's authority/position for personal gain. This personal gain could be monetary payment or any other type of benefit. The benefit must be gained illegally and as a result of one's authority or position. E.g A Doctor, you see your Nurses selling babies illegally and at your authority such could be stopped but you ignore the act just because you receive huge share of the money after sale. Note that corruption tends to abolish the law and also hurt the country.
TYPES OF CORRUPTION
There are many different types of Corruption but we'll discuss on the major two affecting the Country: Bribery and Extortion.
1) Bribery: is giving/receiving any value item in order to influence an individual. E.g An Executive might accept money in exchange that the masses would be paying huge bills for Network Services. Note that Bribe is usually Money.

2) Extortion: is threatening of someone in order to obtain money or property. It's common and similar to Bribery. Hence, extort means "to threaten." It's common in the Police Department and in Schools. E.g A Lecturer threatens his Student to pay huge sum of money or fail his course. A Police Officer accuses a child of stealing, keep asking the child to provide his Birth Certificate, ID Card of the Church he attends, his NEPA Bill, his Driving License, etc, just for a Theft Case as evidence. A Custom Officer confiscate your goods at SeaPort and yet resell the goods to make profit.
CAUSES OF CORRUPTION
1. Money: the easy access to large sum of money is the largest contributing factor to Corruption. When people have access to large sum of money through illegal ways or unaccounted form, it promote Corruption.
2. Silence: when people become silent to report a crime, it discourage others below in position from reporting the misconduct of a corrupt individual.

3. Tolerance: when people keep tolerating corrupt behaivour from others rather than checking or correcting it, it will promote the act.
4. Brand: when you brand a group as corrupt because of few persons who are into it, it will rather promote their actions which others will follow.
HOW TO END CORRUPTION
Solutions to ending corruption, hopefully are:
1. Trained forces: create forces that would be trained to only tackle on corruption as the specific task.
2. Shift in workplaces: people/leaders should implore shift in workplaces/areas/agencies/organisations, so that individuals that are intolerant of corrupt practices and willing to get ranks.
3. Enforce Law: the government should enforce strict laws on corruption, that punishes the culprits. Because if the act is being protected like Prostitution, quickly become lucrative sources of income for all involved.
4. Prosecution: the people/leaders should prosecute or charge anyone with corrupt behaivour and ...
