You can't compare a Professor to a cattle rearer, that's an insult because the thought-process of a prof will always be far above that of a cattle rearer whose only certificate to popularity is coup detat that made it possible for him to rise to become an army general without proven educational track record, without any exceptional military performance except being part of numerous military coups that sabotaged Nigeria's democracy.

Now sentiment aside, none of the current leaders can take Nigeria to an enviable height because all of them are politicians who went into politics to make money for themselves and their family and not to rescue the nation and to serve the people.

If Nigeria wants to be great, we need people like:

1. Nnamdi Kanu as Nigeria's president: forget his Biafra gragra, that guy is an exceptional leader with great leadership qualities and goal, and his outlined policies will transform Nigeria if we remove sentiments, tribalism, etc and give him a chance. Any other Igbo man like Orji Uzo Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Chris Ngige, Nnamani, etc given the opportunity to become Nigeria's president will perform even worse than Buhari. So if Nigerians want an Igbo president, let them ask Igbo youths to elect who they want and not just appoint any Igbo politicians that has been corrupted by the northern/western political cabals like Okorocha and co.

2. Senator Shehu Sani: this is another presidential candidate option for Nigeria if Nigeria wants to move forward because someone like Sani will do a good job without being religious or tribalistic, not Buhari a tribal and religious bigot we have now.

Atiku, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Kwankwaso, etc will destroy Nigeria more than Buhari and co did.

3. Ayo Fayose: forget sentiment, this man has some good leadership qualities that may help to rescue Nigeria from misery. I know most southwest youths don't like this man, but I am sure they will wake up to love him someday when the scales on their eyes fall off or when Tinubu's spell stops working on them. Fayose will stand for his Yoruba people, and every other oppressed citizen of Nigeria, and he will implement good policies without fear. Forget Fashola....any dunce can perform as Lagos governor considering the IGR and the level of development and enlightened people living in Lagos. Lagos can even govern itself without a governor....so let's not rate Fashola based on Lagos because Lagos has been the economic center of Nigeria since the 60s.

Nigerians should stop voting people into power based on popularity because most of the popular people we have been voting into power are mere politicians that went into politics to make money for themselves and their unborn children-children, they didn't join politics to serve the people or to leave a legacy behind

There are other unpopular great leaders in Yoruba land that fit the presidency but not Tinubu, Fashola, Fayemi, Daniels and co.

And for the above named persons to perform as presidents, Nigeria's senate must to overhauled and all thieves removed. Nigeria need to pass a bill prohibiting former governors from contesting as senators, they are the ones destroying Nigeria. We need new, non-corrupt Nigerians from business and unknown corporate environments who have never tasted politics to occupy our senatorial and presidential seats in order for things to work in Nigeria. Same applies to governorship seats, if not, Nigeria will continue to drag.

And the central government needs to be decentralized to reduce the power at the center. Regional system of government will work better for Nigeria whereby Nigeria becomes united regions of Nigeria, with one central government that focuse more on international affairs, national security, etc.
