I am not a big fan of slant backs. I wonder who woke up one day and said, "I have an idea that would destroy the German Shepherd".

It's quite unfortunate really. The dog looks deformed. Looks like it has a hunch. How do folks find this appealing...

Hahahahahahaha....some people are dying to have such dogs....she is a slant back...no deformation at all...it was the way we took the pix...another man's food is another man poison...that dog ur seeing cost a lot so will her pups cost a fortune...its more profitable to keep a slant back than a straight back...well alll is based on ur choice.lol...

On the contrary, many more dog lovers are beginning to understand the "deformity" of the slant back breed.
Here in Nigeria, the Slant GSD became popular because of the misconception that the Slant GSD's a more 'authentic' Dog (no thanks the the ekuke GSD mutts running around).
The Straight back (the proper GSD) is being reintroduced to the Nigerian market. Although few breeders have very good stock, the popularity of the straight back is on the rise.

for me if its nnot a slant gsd black and tan....then forget it...they are expensive and more profitable....it moves with speed in d market....slant gsd is my best breed...but another might love the straight back....but i can assure u dat majority wants a slant back...
