In view of the continuing anxiety across the nation caused by President Muhammadu Buhari's longer than expected stay in London, the presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that the president will return home tomorrow, Tuesday 7th march 2017, to work diligently for the attainment of the goals of this administration.

President Buhari left Nigeria for London for his annual vacation but upon arrival, he had to undergo some routine medical checks. it was expected that the recommended tests and procedure would be completed quickly to enable the president return. But the medicals regrettably took longer than anticipated.

The tests and procedures have now been successfully completed. The presidency greatly appreciates the sincere concern of Nigerians for the good health and wellbeing of President Buhari.

It also wishes to stress that there was no deliberate attempt to misinform the nation as to the true purpose of the President's trip or his state of health..
