all the people commenting above we all know where they come from. sometimes i wonder if they think that they are the only "saints"in Nigeria. these are the same set of people who always chat the "leadership" Tinubu a known drug dealer and one who emptied the coffers of Lagos state is referred to as the embodiment of light in Nigeria while the likes of Ibori and the former governor of Akwa ibom are vilified. since they have turned this into a tribal bashing i am not surprised. it has always been their nature. what irritates me is the fact that they are well known and documented tribalist in Nigeria. from the Oba of lagos,benjamin adekunle,obafemi awolowo,obasanjo,fashola and co. but are very quick to point fingers and call them bigots when their bigotry stinks to high heavens!! what stops you from expressing your distaste for what he posted even if he made reference that he added question marks to it. what is the connection between the man,the message and him being a bigot because of a picture he posted? some times people need to be careful about what they say or write. you are a bigot but quick to point the bigotry in others. what a slowpoke.

The point is Prof Odinkalu should have checked - there was no emergency in the tweet. He could have tweeted 24 hours later
Furthermore nobody sees question marks, they see images and pass same round
Only educated people know question marks, illiterates see images and understand perfectly, they don't know question marks
I cannot read Chinese and their question marks, but I can understand the picture of a Chinese beaten, blue and black

Meanwhile Police harass people everywhere, North South, wherever, EVERYDAY
And they will do it to an Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa etc in the East/West/North if they have sufficient backup
The Nigerian Army destroyed BRT buses at Palmgrove in Lagos and also beat up people

The guys convicted for the Apo killing (the victims were Christians) were also Christians from the Middle belt

The credibility or otherwise of the news becomes tainted the moment someone relates a new with a false information. It stands logic on its head to tell a lie because you are trying to paint the picture of "truth".

If you care to know
1. The Corper/Teacher went against the laid down rules of the ministry of education in the state as concerning mode of punishment to students
2. The Policeman father went against the law by assaulting (no where is the brutalizing angle to it anyway true) the teacher
3. There was a peace meeting to resolve the issue in the presence of the state ministry official and top police officials in the state. At the resolution, both the corper and the policeman were reprimanded and declared guilty
4. Each party has apologised to each other and moved on. There is an authentic photograph of the corper and there is no single mark on his back
