I've come to theorize that if you're an Arsenal fan that is conforming with the current state of affairs, you're either a masochist or a slowpoke.

There seems to be a sizable group of gunners fans that want Wenger to remain at the helm because of what “he's done for the club”, or that he “put the club on the map”. He did, put them on the map, granted, but at this rate, Arsenal will find themselves completely off the map. I mean, a couple seasons ago when Bayern drew Arsenal (as always) in the round of 16, Manuel Neuer literally started laughing and fist-bumping his teammates. If it's gotten to the point that the big European teams treat you as a training exercise, then yikes…

Also, what Wenger’s fanbase doesn't realize is that for every season he remains and wins them literally nothing, he is effectively dismantling the legacy he built and it becomes more and more of a distant memory. That champions league final? That was more than a decade ago. The invincibles campaign? More than 12 years ago. The double of 1998? That was Ian Wright’s last season. Ages ago. What's the point to building a ship if you're just going to let it sink?

The love for a club isn't determined by the outcome of one match because we know arsenal can still perform wonders when given proper motivation, we've seen it.



Honestly, Arsenal fans are starting to shout wenger out. A lot of us has always been shouting this sinc '14 but well, love for the club still made us stick till this time.


Just you watch, when wenger leaves and allegri or some other coach comes to tutor arsenal, Bayern will rue this day.
