One month after Mainlanders joined their counterparts across the nation to stage a peaceful protest march in Lagos, the physically-challenged and beggars in Lagos also stormed the Governors Office in Alausa yesterday, March 7, 2017.
During the protest, the protesters who were marching against their alleged dehumanization, came out en-masse, and prevented the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode from gaining access to his office.
The protesters also blocked the entrance into the Alausa Secretariat and the Lagos State House of Assembly paralyzing government activities in the process.
The protest march, led by a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Justice and Empowerment Initiatives Nigeria (JEI) demanded that the government take urgent action on the alleged dehumanisation of the physically-challenged in the State...... https:///5WLOH2
