MR PRESIDENT ONE MORE THING
By: Taiwo Adeyemi
When President Mohammadu Buhari embarked on medical vacation to United Kingdom in January, he transmitted letter to the National Assembly to allow Vice president Prof Yemi Osinbajo to act as the president while he enjoys his vacation in the Queen's country.
Mr. president through this gesture saved this country from another round of political crisis that might bring about doctrine of necessity experienced during president Umaru Musa Yaradua. It is imperative for Mr. president to address Nigerians to give us clearer picture about his illness.
Mr. President media handlers have been putting lots of media gimmicks and stunts on motion to convince Nigerians that their principal is healthy through press statement of calls with American President Donald Trump, former Nigerian President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and pictures of visit of his political gladiators. He should go by his inaugural speech that he belongs to everybody and to nobody.
It is time for him to speak to everybody ( Nigerians) whose tax money is being use to foot his medical bill. This is important to convince us that he put national interest above his political interest.
