Bigsteveg: Do other international airports shut down COMPLETELY? No one is saying it shouldn't be repaired or maintained, the point is it doesn't have to be completely shut down. We are in 2017, people at the helms of affairs should think up creative solutions. Other international airports that are busier carry out constant maintenance without foolishly shutting down a major gateway into the country when we badly need foreign investors. Not everything is "ote", there is an expectation for basic common sense from decision makers. 1 Like |

Bigsteveg: If there is anything big about your Steveg, you will know how to share links to credible sources validating your stories of major international airports shut down for many MONTHS just for the purpose of doing MAINTENANCE. Should we wait for the links? 1 Like |

Dearie, there is no airport without maintenance. And it's not months it's just for 6 weeks. I watch it on Aljazera yesterday and it was a welcome development. By the time they are through it becomes a world class. Check out national stadium Lagos and u will feel sorry. If u want for links. Pls watch National Geographic.... seguno2: |

Bigsteveg: Just as I suspected, there is nothing big about your steveg. You make a claim that you can't sustain. You don't know the difference between maintenance on one hand and major repairs/renovation/refurbishing on the other. Na real wa for you oh. 2 Likes |

seguno2: All what u mentioned are all classified under maintenance. Lemme lecture u a bit, we have 3 types of maintenance 1) Preventive 2)Predictive 3) Corrective Either renovation, refurbishing, repairing, repainting. Brother it falls under maintenance. This time corrective because things are outta if hand On 14 July – 18 August 2017, Vilnius Airport runway will be under reconstruction. For 35 summer days Kaunas will become a capital of aviation in Lithuania since most of the flights will be diverted to Kaunas Airport. Am open to correction |

Why must it ALWAYS be JB that wud get all the FAT contracts in this country sef? Government isn't helping our own engineering firms in this aspect o. Later we'll be hearing "Buy Naija to grow the naira". I believe we have the capacity to deliver quality too. Hit like if you're with me. |

Bigsteveg: Your ETC and education certainly does not include the example below. Why can't we hold our public servants to the HIGHEST standards instead of citing shitty examples when our public servants are among the HIGHEST paid in the world?
