Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on new media, Reno Omokri has said it will benefit Nigeria if President Muhammadu Buhari continues in ceremonial capacity while his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo, takes charge of day-to-day management and leadership of the country.
According to him, that such arrangement would guarantee the sustenance of “the economic progress we have witnessed under Osinbajo and give President Buhari room to ‘rest’.
Omokri said this in a statement on his Facebook page on Friday.
According to him, President Buhari, as a ceremonial President, can better utilize his military experience in overseeing the armed forces and foreign relations.
