K1 d’ultimate as he’s fondly called by fans over the
years is a legendary Fuji musician that is widely
respected by most Nigerian entertainers.

In the course of his 60th birthday to which a white
party was hosted in Lagos, he granted an interview
with Goldmyne Tv where he bared it all on some
uncommon facts which most people don’t know
about him.

1. He has started music since when he was 15years
old. That’s an amazing 45years in the game, and
still counting.


2. He made his first million when he was 19.


3. His first car was a Volkswagen Beetle 1300. He later dashed it out when he got another one.


4. He worked as a Customs clearing agent at Apapa
Wharf, Lagos before dumping it for full time music.


5. He admitted to have smoked Cigarette once when
he was 18 but stopped because the tobacco stick
made him cough excessively.


6. He released his first Album in 1979, he titled it
‘Iba’ which means greetings in Yoruba.


7. His first Child is now 40 years Old, he had him
when he was 20 with his first girlfriend at Isale Eko.


8. K1 was a proud dad on 15th of December 2015
when one of his daughters ‘Basirat Damilola Ayinde
Marshal’ was called to bar after graduating from the
Nigerian Law School in Abuja.


9. He made his first trip abroad in 1976.


10. His first Original designer was a wristwatch by
Piaget Abel.
