@Genuflect , it was not freestyle as you said , I agree with you but the song demonstrated that ability. Using of street credebility and the rest to compose made me use the word freestyle

dont mind this guy. it may have SOUNDED like it was freestyle, but it wasnt.
freestyle is live and on the spot where you make up your flow right then and there.
it was just plain old rapping.

For me, it's undoubtedly JJC and the We are Africans/We are Africans remix.
I hadn't seen any of the videos before I bumped into this thread but I've had the "We are Africans, AHOOOOO!" chant ringing in my head for the last two days and I cant seem to get it out. Help!
There are a ton of videos with voluptious, half clad, booty shaking vixens out there but when I pick the best rap video, I just cant go with one of them.
JJC put together a superlative track, great video and an uncompromisingly possitive message delivered with style.

i actually took time to watch the Kel ft Alaye video and it was NOTHING to write home about.
im not really into naija female rappers (almost all of them suck) and most of the guys suck.
they rap about the same shizz and the females are TOOOO wannabe american, really annoying. they need to stick to being original on that naija hype.
but with that being said, our rap section of our naija music insudustry sucks if Kel and Alaye are being voted for as one of the best. i guess its just opinion though.

Funny enough, the best video of 2009 - Terry tha Rapman's ''Sample ' is not amongst the nominated videos.

Dagrin had a great track in pon pon pon with an average video whereas JJC's 'We are Africans' was on point and the video was exceptionally well done. So amongst the nominated videos I'll go for JJC's 'We are Africans'. Don't know whether to choose the original or the remix version cos I love the two videos.
