Presently the Nigerian Port Authority retrenched employees are protesting for their Benefits and entitlement in front of the NPA cooperate office in Marina Lagos State We may wish to recall that in compliance with the Supreme Court judgment dated 11th May, 2007 which directed that the calculation and payment of retirement benefits (pension and gratuity) payments be computed based on the Pension Act 1990 as amended by circular No 63216, S.1/x/618 of 13th September, 1991 prescribing the period of service of the affected workers in the organization http://olutemiblog.com/npa-retrenched-employees-presently-protesting-for-their-benefits/
