The Senate rejected Magu's nomination following a letter by the Department of State Services (DSS) which upheld an earlier letter that Magu failed the integrity test and was unfit for the office.

The DSS letter which was sent to the Senate on Wednesday stressed that Mr Magu would constitute “a liability to the anti-corruption fight of the present administration”.

Even installation of governor's toilet is awarded to foreigners. When will we stop disenfranchising our brothers from the fruit of our fatherland? All these Lebanese and Arabs they hire to run our contracts steal our money and they do not complete any contract. Nigerians are more experienced and educated to undertake all these positions. Why can't our brothers be given the privileges they deserve?
