DSS, MAGU AND AN INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT
Security Agencies in Nigeria strive to achieve one goal - a crime free society. Hence, synergy is required and thus their job is made easier. Inter-agency rivalry is understandable but it is always discouraged. It is discouraged so as to avoid embarrassment especially to the President. But what played out between DSS and Magu yesterday resulted in this same avoidable embarrassment and its a pointer to one thing - the incompetence of President Buhari.
We all have been following Magu's confirmation news so no need for what my Grandpa, Chief Kola Ogundipe will call 'ejo gutter dirty' (unnecessary talk). His rejection by the Senate a record second time was due to an indicting report by a sister agency, the DSS. This second report came even after the President in a letter addressed to the Senate on Jan 24th, had cleared Magu through the Attorney General's investigation report; the DSS still went ahead to embarrass their President.
We have two reports now: The DSS report which indicted Magu and the Attorney General's report which cleared Him. Whichever way, it shows that somebody somewhere is lying; we have a liar occupying public office.
I was hoping to see d breaking news sacking of either the AGF or the DSS boss but its nothing like that because we have an incompetent President.
In Fela Anikulapo Kuti's voice, President wey no know him work na suwegbe oooo, na suwegbe ooo. President wey no know him work na Kpako ooo, na Kpako ooo

The president is surely in the know. It seems strange to us, but not GMB. He held a meeting with the leaders of the national assembly, both home and away.
So let's enjoy their drama but not forgetting history before another propaganda resurfaces during election.
