FG Warns N-power Beneficiaries Against Falling For Fraudsters by suasmablow(m): 5:36pm On Mar 17, 2017
The federal Government has cautioned beneficiaries of its social investment programme popularly called N-Power against falling for false and fraudulent reports circulating especially in the Social Media that new applications are now being received on the N-Power portal. This was contained in a disclaimer statement issued on the portal of the programme.

The statement equally warns beneficiaries against giving out vital personal information such as BVN, Account Number among others to any body as such reports are not from the Presidency.

While urging beneficiaries to ignore such reports emanating from fake sources and outlets, the statement reiterated that bonafide sources of information from the presidency and FG include (http://npvn.npower.gov.ng, http://npower.gov.ng), selection@npower.gov.ng or the relevant Focal Persons appointed by each of the 36 States and the FCT.

Potential applicants are therefore advised to remain calm as the date for commencement of the next batch of volunteers for the N-Power program will be announced on http://npvn.npower.gov.ng and http://npower.gov.ng

It might interest you to know that the Buhari administration has so far allocated N500 billion each in the 2016 and 2017 budgets to the Special Intervention programme consisting of the Home-grown School Feeding Programme, Government Economic Empowerment programme, Npower Job Creation Programme to provide loans for traders and artisans, Conditional Cash Transfers to the poorest families and the new Family Homes Fund (social housing scheme).
