Am I dreaming? Beatrice calling me? After she vehemently cursed me never to call her again. I was dethered for some secs. I checked the time and it was 7.am.

The ringing stopped and I concluded within myself to pick it if she calls again

Barely 3secs the call came again, I slided the call icon to the receive icon slowly and placed the phone on my ear. I waited for her to speak up just to avoid any mayhem

"hello" her voice sounded very cordial and that gave me the motivation needed to reply
