Well, i guess for now the trend has to be discouraged else no one will register for the small scale "Legal" refineries when it begins. Those who will want to do this legally will become slaves to the illegal morons who are into all sorts of other illegalities like oil theft, arms deals, etc. So the Illegal refining has to be squashed.
However there are many illegal businesses going on in Nigeria along side duly registered ones
1. Beer palours
2. Hotels
3. Cloths (people who sell cloths on the street corners, round-about and pavements at night outsmart the genuine boutiques who would stock average stuff affordable to most people.
4. Restaurants
5. Transportation

Why are you stupidly destroying the illegal refineries when the legal refineries have refused to work for several years with billions invested in them. Instead of solving the problem by organising them into small groups to manage modular refineries with daily crude allocation like in some other countries the soldiers are adding and contributing to environmental pollution by these action
