Senator Dino Melaye is pictured heading to a court in Abuja to sue Saharareporters for N5 billion over alleged defamation, libel. The lawsuit, which has been filed at the Abuja Federal High Court, will see the Senator take drastic action in making Sahara Reporters pay, for supposedly lying about his education at the Ahmadu Bello University.

Sahara Reporters in a series of publications alleged that Senator Melaye was expelled from Ahmadu Bello University, and as such did not legally obtain a first degree there.
