Once again, the best CDs group in Yenagoa of Bayelsa state has achieved another milestone of creative initiative as the Ecovangaurd community development of Batch "A" 2016/17 Service built and donated a mini standard Incinerator to three schools, the first of its kind in the state(BAYELSA). It was anchored by formidable team of passionate Ecovangaurd NYSC CDS Group. It was constructed between the boundary of three schools ( Community Secondary School, community pry Sch and Is Epie national high sch., Kpansia (evening) all at kpansia, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State).

Spearheaded by the CDS president, Agboola Shakiru as he spoke to the media ;

" it was a preconceived idea of what the proposed site looks like, over half a decade the proposed site was used as a refuse dump site after which they will burn it, but it is worthy to note that the locals within the community took advantage of it to dump their huge waste and if it continues, it will in turn result into environmental hazard. Its no longer news that solid waste generated in schools are between 80%-90% combustible materials so building an incinerator is one of the most organised way of reducing the negative impact of such. The incinerator is made up of solid stonecrete blocks which have good thermal resistivity characteristics, a galvanised wire mesh of not less than 10% chromium was used to separate the combustion chambers from the combustion inlet ".
Irrespective of the harsh economic situation of the country, NYSC corp members are still doing their best to develop their host community not minding their little stipends.

In attendance was d senior staff adviser to the governor on NYSC matters, Director of Human Resources (representing the NYSC Bayelsa state coordinator , Yenagoa Local Inspector Officer, principal of the beneficiary sch, media aid from radio Bayelsa.
