Sometimes I marvel when people say that Christ is a Prophet and not a Godhead, or some arguing that Christ wasn't among in the creation. This Topic is for you! In a nutshell, Christ is one of the Godhead and the Architect of creation.
The Trinity(God/Father, Son/Christ, Holy Spirit) are the same in essence but distinct in role. Just as Army, Navy and Airforce are distinct fighting entities but are also "One" armed forces.
Col. 2:9 tells us that they are not apart. Deut. 6:4; Isa. 44:8; tells us that there's only One God. "One" here stands for "unity" as in husband & wife being "one."
John. 6:27; Eph. 4:16; the Father is called God.
Heb. 1:8; John 8:58; the Son/Christ is called God, & had existed(John 1:1-3; 56-58), & he took a flesh(John 1:14; Phil. 2:5-11).
Acts 5:3-4; 13:2; the Holy Spirit is called God.
They are distinct, in Matt. 3:16-17; all(the Trinity) were present & distinct. The Son/Christ baptized. The God/Father spoke from heaven...

Jer. 1:8,17-18; Isa. 44:6; Christ was identified as God.
Isa. 9:6; 10:21; Micah 5:2; tells us that Christ has been.
Phil. 2:5-11; tells that Christ have equality with God.
John 19:7, Christ is God, that's why they thought he's blasphemy.
Compare John 8:58, John 1:45 and Exd. 3:14; Christ as God is also the "I Am."
Compare Gen. 1:26; Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 28:19. The Trinity is real! The Father in the old testament, the Son in the new testament, the Holy Spirit in this present age.
Advice: we must be aware of Satan's devices cos he quotes the Word of God & abuse their meaning just as in/during Christ' temptation.
