Kogi: fix the roads, sack all the politicians starting with melaye, in fact totally overhaul the state. Nothing works there. Everybody keep pulling everybody down. Kogi is the most backward state in Africa!

@ Braden7 I'm caught up. Yep agro allied initiatives ,local manufacturing, food sufficiency, friendly and well landscaped environment, mining , diversified cheap energy generation especially using renewable energy sources in rural communities most especially, e-economy cluster groups mostly youths trained and mentored to tap into the global markets, special skills acquisition centres to retrain interested citizen on certain lucrative fields in hot demand within and outside the state, etc

But the dynamics of local politics and the will of the political elite are always key to the survival any lofty plans by any politician eg Donald Duke, Rotimi Amaechi and Tinubu.

My main goal would be to actualize stable power supply in Edo state; if it is to lobby for a bill to be passed concerning it in the national assembly.
Then focus would be given to tourism,I think we underestimate tourism in Nigeria; we only talk about oil,agriculture and industry.Tourism is a huge contributor to the economies of Dubai,France,USA etc....I will build a "Grand Museum of Benin" and embark on massive infrastructural upgrage coupled with a sophisticated transport system.
Basically,I will run a socialist system by instituting a state owned "Infrastructural and Industrial Bank of Benin(IIBB)" that will give out loans to MSMEs/SMLEs at a very low interest rate,as well as attract investors to finance huge infrastructural projects in the state.
I will add history and moral education into the syllabus.
A state owned milling company will be opened for the proceessing and packaging of grains that are produced through a series of agricultural reforms; Benin rice,Benin wheat etc will be an household brand.

in order to build the housing , freehold land ownership needs to be abolished and owners compensated, and all lands must be owned by the government and sold in large acres to property developers.

hmmm .....Donald Duke wanted to turn CR to Eldorado but some of his key dreams/ projects were sabotaged, Tinubu's ideas were jealously attacked by an incompetent nest of killers e.g Local Dev Areas, IPP to mention just a few hence he spent about two decades fighting these pests while nurturing successors who buy into the original lofty plans; Rotimi Amaechi ,a workaholic, intimidated the buffoons who were afraid that his numerous development projects were a threat to their political survival so they had to stop him, smear his name and sabotaged his projects e.g using nponzi Okonjo Iweala a world Bank sponsored- Rotimi- Amaechi- inspired water project for Rivers people was stopped. ......hmmm abolish freehold? what are you bringing to the table for the people? oil, solid minerals ,etc would be owned by government too? Then you need a referendum and u ain't the president except every gatekeepers in the state agree. but the FG would be afraid you are succeeding so let say if you were the governor of Kogi State as it is now, wetin you go do.
