Tinny Entertainment foremost act Ycee made history a moment ago as he became the first ever African artiste to host a radio show on the BBC Radio 1 Xtra. According Zebra Stripes Networks, the rapper, who sat in for DJ Edu, anchored the Destination Africa show, where he exclusively premiered two singles – ‘Juice’ and ‘Bubbly’ - off his debut EP ‘The First Wave’. Ycee made his first appearance on Destination Africa with DJ Edu in January 2017, during his first ever UK tour. The show had listeners from all over the United Kingdom, including Ycee fans from Africa, who tuned in online.
