SOURCE; http://ay2much..co.ke/2017/03/jamb-mock-exam-holds-next-week-are-you_31.html?m=1 Going by the information earlier provided by JAMB, the proposed Mock examination for 2017 prospective UTME candidates will hold Saturday April 8th, 2017. That's a week from now. According to a recent information released by JAMB, over 300,000 candidates have already indicated interest to sit for the Mock examination. The purpose of the Mock examination is to give candidates an idea of what the actual UTME will look like considering the new technology JAMB has put in place. I think it is advisable for candidates to take the Mock examination as it will serve as a confidence booster during the actual examination. We would like to know how many Nairaland Students are taking the Mock examination. Do you think it is necessary? For those that won't be taking the examination, what are your reasons? Please share with us |

Won't say it's necessary or not. I just know it changes almost nothing in the outcome of the main exams. In fact it may lead to complacency on the part of some students which will make them fail in the end. Passing the mock exams doesn't guarantee success in the main exams and failing the mock doesn't mean you can't pass the main exams too. All that matters is for those writing the exams to prepare well and pray. 1 Like |
