How to wireless update your phone if you are currently on version 20190819 and the update process gets stuck at rebootingYou need this solution only if you don't want to or can not update your phone with SPFT (no Windows/Linux PC) or from recovery (no SD card)
Download the OTA5.26_noIcon_20190911.apk and AdupsFotaUpdate-new.apk files and copy them to the storage of your phone.
Open the file browser and install OTA5.26_noIcon_20190911.apk
Go to 'Settings --> Apps & notifications' and select 'See all ... apps
Tap on the 3-dot menu button in the top right corner and 'Show system'.
Scroll down to Wireless Update and select, then DISABLE (Replace this app with the factory version) and FORCE STOP it.
Now install AdupsFotaUpdate-new.apk. If your phone is connected to the internet, now the wireless update will automatically start to get downbloaded.
Install the update and let your phone reboot.

I had this same issue with a phone I bought back then (elephone )
But the refund they offered to you is too small

They offered me $50 refund during mine


As I don't think shipping something back to China is cheap even the company will require you to use trackable shipping

I suggest you make inquiry about returning it

If it's not cheap then you'll have no other option than to collect the refund

But you can contact AliExpress customer service to know if they can increase the refund amount

Are you happy with the overall condition? Have you checked cost of sending back?

Is the lower figure enough compensation to manage am so?

What's the cost of the screen and repair? Take a screenshot of the order page of the screen and add it to the repair charge and maybe inconvenience. Attach it as evidence to the case.

Have you tried hard reset or update?

mine too after i ignored updating it for a week,the thing just disappeared,now it is showing system up to date

I just bought the Umidgi power. I am always online on my phone as I work with it so I'm wondering why someone who plays games has a better battery percentage on his than mine.


Is there something I'm doing wrong?

At 22% left = 7hrs 18 minutes..... So laydoh should run out in about 9 hours........

It was one of the major reasons I bought the phone, it's battery strength. The difference is too much between mine and his.


If nothing can be done, then something is definitely wrong with the phone from the manufacturers.

Lester it was about 18 hours battery time even though I didn't use it past 49% before charging. Today it's about 14hours.

If you want to play games............ Hill Climb Racing 2, is the only game I would recommend......... cheesy

I remember returning my umi iron sometime in 2016 using nipost it cost about 900naira took about 3 weeks to be received in Guangzhou China.. Though phone was gotten from gearbest.

Im not jealous. I just don't understand why it is dropping faster than his. Maybe if he can answer me I'll know if I use my phone much more than he does.

I presume most of us here including him are online most of the time plus he plays games with it.
I've only been on chrome and played songs.

Screen on mobile data consume battery.
Compare to WiFi that consume less.
