Riding
On wheel of time
The old
Into oblivion
Slides,
To give way
To the new
On rostrum of present.
Like pupa
From hibernation emerge
Untainted by vagaries,
New Year comes
With merriments
Resolutions.
As the old recedes
Into recesses
Of history,
In unison
We chorus
Happy New Year!
