Some idiotic zombies will still be praising bubu for his fight against corruption. Magu with all his braggadocio still doesn't have a single conviction. Still bubu with his dumb brain will be blaming the judges yet prove your case not way

I hope a flood of apologies would be published by all the aproko media outlets and devilish blogs wey don judge Orubesco many times over

That's the world we live in now. Some people are judgmental hypocritical pricks who love to castigate without justification

Orubebe should file defamation lawsuits against them and most especially the EFCC.

The problem is that the government uses anti-corruption investigations as a tool of harrassment against perceived government enemies. It's very likely Orubebe is guilty of corrupt misdeeds but once the government feels it has sufficiently "taught" him a lesson, they discontinue their prosecution.

Nothing new here. We knew it all along.

The purpose was never to convict people. They have no evidence against most people. It was to Harass, hound, weaken and subjugate political opponents and perceived enemies.

What lesson It's pure vendetta.

Do you know EFCC stands the risk of incurring fine in millions if Orubebe decides to sue the agency?

And if it's all about teaching him a lesson then it also shows that what we are operating presently is not democracy but autocratic rule where a man and his gang rule like the country is their personal fiefdom.

How can people be subjected to prosecutions and media trials without proper investigation?

And when this government is being accused of vendetta some brain cripple zombies will start foaming at the mouth like rabid dogs claiming it's corruption fighting back.

Useless and incompetent presidency.
Do U know that the senator they were rumouring that he has 20 accounts, bla bla bla gave an interview recently and said that up till now,he has not been questioned nor invited by d EFCC, yet his name was conveniently dropped for d media to use and make noise up and down.
D ppl that support this govt definitely have a low IQ.

That would be him pushing his luck, the man is definitely wiser than that.

Anything could be the case here, the EFCC legal team may have simply bungled the case or maybe the judges may have been compromised. Or then again, the man may have struck a secret deal with the FG or bribed the right people, else I wonder how the government suddenly withdraws the case claiming the money they accused him of diverting is no longer missing.

Whatever the case though, if you really think 100% that Amb. Orubebe, the former minister of the Niger Delta and former governorship aspirant has no diggable skeletons in his closets, then you aren't a Nigerian.

Do you really think the man hasn't got skeletons in his closet?... I'm sure he's smarter than the bolded above (i.e. trying to sue). The man may have oiled the right hands or struck a deal with the govt behind closed doors, else don't you wonder how 2 years later, the money they claimed he diverted is miraculously rediscovered and the attorney general of the federation calls EFCC to withdraw the case?

He may likely have other skeletons but as far as ds particular skeleton is concerned, it's not in his cupboard so he can sue their arses out on the basis of this very skeleton and d effect of his wrongful accusation and trial.
