Is there more information you can offer us. Does the rail have to do with Coastal railway? I know both States planning super highway Cross River having difficulty getting EIA done due to their irresponsible tactics.

@Braden2, Looking at the writer of this piece, you will know, he is most likely to be based in the "advanced world" which happens to be a sane world, but, as for Naija, mehn! you know the way we think and do things here na! our leaders are really not "sane" set of people o!stealing and embezling of our commonwealth is in their nature. therefore, achieving such beautiful scenery in this part of the world in the next 50 years, hmmm! is not possible oooo

i love ur vision, a tall dream i must say but bros the political environment is not ripe for that. Attah tried it, Akpabio built on the visions of attah but we've got a long way to go.

The area needs education (not this certificate ish) and enlightenment to bring people up to par with what is obtainable elsewhere to drive the necessary growth.

Everything I write is based on my imagination and basic and limited understanding of the situation, events and people. In fact, I've never stepped foot there before. I've only been to Nigeria once 12 years ago when I was 15. landed in Lagos and then Calabar and Oron.
I love afang soup and fufu and think its the best soup in the world. I like the geography and landscape of the entire region.(lush forest ,rivers , lakes and hills). Akwacross people are the most intelligent blacks in the world. I think they deserve an environment which matches their intelligence.
If wishes were horses......

Braden2:
can you elaborate on this
There is darkness in the land. A lot of enlightenment is needed for the people to embrace critical thinking. Don't get me wrong a lot of people have conventional education but it does not translate to sound mind and progressive attitude.

There is need for massive re-orientation especially for children and youth to cultivate the 21st century mindset needed to progress. Mind you the quality of education here is very poor and most people don't engage nor even understand what is personal development and social etiquette.

Average person here is not globally minded nor can they compete in an ever globalize world. Religion and spirituality is still rife, productivity is low and standard of living is low because of endemic poverty. Just like every other part of Nigeria, small clique of elite have hijack everything leaving the crumbs for the masses to scramble for.
