Then the salaries of senators should be cut down and used. Why is Nigeria so poor yet her senators are wealthy?

Newspapers must sell by force sha. All they have to do is quote a part of your words and remove the context just to attract readers and give more orgasm to those who derive orgasm in bashing govt.
The same govt that has never owed federal workers salary despite much lower revenues and yesterday just paid outstanding pensions piled from previous govts will suddenly not have money to pay salaries when oil price and production is somewhat steady?
*smh*

They paid outstanding pensions 4rm previous governments?? Take it easy bro, we know dis govt is treating u well so we will not bash dem. The 2014 pension was due to reconciliation of old and new scheme and it was owed in d 4th quarter. Your good govt was supposed to pay d pension for 2015 and 2016!!! We are approaching the 2nd quarter of 2017! Besides the supposed payment was done ONLY on paper! NOTHING has been paid yet!!

Keep standing with BABA

Stupid utterances like this are the reason our economy is in shit. You think anyone wants to invest in a country where its minister says cant pay pensions? Keep making unguided statements and watch the dollar rise again. Since there is no money for pension, there too won't be money for forex intervention in the market. Idiots

Is it the "enemies of state" that made dullardi.nho and his gang run the country into insolvency??

Yes, it is the enemies of that state that gave Obanikoro 4.3 bliion naira to rig Ekiti election. It is the enemies of the state that gave Bode George, Jim Nwobo, Olu Falae, Peter Odili 100 million naira each to rig 2015 presidential election. It is the enemies of the state that gave Asari Dokuboh several billions of Nigeria's money without doing anything but just to establish his personal private University in Benin Republic. It is the enemies of state that gave Andrew Yakubu 9.8 million dollars which he kept in his family village house. It is the enemies of state that shared several millions of naira to INEC officials to rig 2015 presidential electing. It is the enemies of state that gave Alex Badeh several billions of unaccounted naira such that he became richer than his state, to the extent that EFCC met one million dollars in his wardrobe. The same enemies of state made Olusola Amosu's wife to hid one millions dollars in a fake soak away pit. What about the several billions with Tinubu, Fashola, Amaechi and others?

Now, you that did not eat last night, because they was no food at home. Also, this morning there is no hope of breakfast for you. Yet, imPatience Mama Piss' drivers, gatemen and garderners have several millions in their account which is kept for Mama Piss. Yet, you still come online to support looters both in PDP and APC. Now use your head, don't you think you are one of the enemies of the state for fighting for corrupt leaders while your stomach is empty?

The cost of running the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA is far too big given the recession the country is facing at the moment.

Given this huge expenditure where so many people are collecting BIG SALARIES for a job we can do away with hence the government can not cope with all the backlogs of salaries.

Besides, the government is still relying on budget that is based on crude oil sales and for those that having been following the price of crude oil in the International market they will realise that the price have been flunctuating around $50 and below. How can a nation like Nigeria achieve fiscal growth given our reliance on a commodity whose price is not stable?

Russia that export oil has technology to back up the shortfall on oil, Saudi Arabia has low population and huge reserve in savings that is keeping them afloat, etc But Nigeria is at a cross road.

The federal government must start the process of RESTRUCTURING from the mistakes of the past.

Having 36 federal minister with their bloated numbers of personal aides and secretaries and admin personnel does not make any sense

The senate must be run on PART TIME as against full time.

Political Office must not attract pension it should be based on self sacrifice. Some senators and governors are presently collecting pensions from two or more offices.

The same cost cutting measures should also be applied to the states where we have governors, deputy governors, commissioners etc

Are the senators, ministers and commissioners getting their salaries?

If the answer is yes, then Nigeria is not a country....The heartless leaders should be buried together in a large box.

Nigerian people who refuse to stand up and rescue their country can also jump into the red sea....The change we are looking for does not occur by default...Nigerians must fight together and tackle down the bl00d sucker leaders.
