Simple rule for military and paramilitary is that a woman's hair shouldn't touch her collar, dis one pass collar even reach yansh u say make dem no cut am

He has the power to have her removed from FRSC as per her commander. No be by force to dey FRSC if she want long hair.

BUT, he has no RIGHT to touch her body. That is physical ASSAULT.

Nigerians dey so used to slavery and domination aka Perseverence. Just as we dey excuse pastors wey go dey climb over women belle, imprison children.

1. If thr was nothing wrong wen teachers cut pupils hair & nails in assembly then thr is nothing wrong here
2. If it was b4 2013 I would have said is sexual abuse for a man to do a female's job but now they said equality, so equality it is.
3. He isn't cutting hair but attachments. If them go leave make them buy another 1 wear

So you are now comparing kids in assembly to adults, possibly some people's wives? I give up on Nigerians.. Truly God has blessed us with the leaders we deserve

Women act stupid all the time because they know some crazy people will rush to their defense. They knew such hairdo was not allowed yet they put it on anyway, with their "nothing will happen"attitude.

Who knew if they had been warned. Even before taking the job they must have been given orientation.

This free pass offered to women is what is destroying Sweden today with their feminist govt. One crazy woman is even calling for cars to be banned to prevent terror. Imagine the stupidity.

If you want fancy hairdo, then don't join FRSC.

If the boss's preferred way to punish them was to cut their hair, then, so be it. He is the boss. As long as he delivers on the job, I'm fine with him. He could have equally done the same thing to men and no one will hear a word of it. If women are so eager to enjoy the mythical "male privilege", then, equality in punishment is a good place to start.

Personally though I would have hurt them where it hurt most. Send them home for some time without pay so they can enjoy their pretty hair.

There are also rules governing discipline and personal conduct that does not permit the kind of actions he took. Once again, this is not the FRSC school or training ground where cadets are subjected to 'indoctrination'. These are rank and file officer and service men under oath. They should be treated with respect and dignity. There are proper channels to punish and enforce discipline.

Once again I say, if Hameed Ali had been stripped to his boxers and forced into a Custom's uniform at the National Assembly grounds, what will you say. This is simply not acceptable in any service.

If physical force or the threat of it is used to establish discipline in every instance, abuse is bound to escalate and then you ask yourself where it ends. If he can show where it is explicitly written that he can cut the hair, or skirts, or whatever of men and women in the course of his duties, then he is free to do so, if not he is liable.
you still have a lot to learn. When u do, you will be ashamed of your comments. I believe you are still a kid with internet access, when its time to build your company or business structure, kindly leave out company rukes out of it. I wouldnt respond to ur next quote. Thank you

To cut women's hair in the public. And you will desire, crave, beg, salivate to be called into the league of developed nations. Watch CNN for six months, no make it one year, ten years and seek these stories out of countries that are not primitive. Abeg go sidon.

By the way, which military have you served in, because if you haven't, you have no means of telling what discipline is and how to enforce it. It was a reckless, silly, stupid act and the man should be punished for bringing the Corps into disrepute.

And by the way can you explain what the hell this has to do with the safety of lives and vehicles on the highways. Can you correlate this senseless act with his mission brief.

Can you explain how being clean shaven saves human lives?
It's their rules period. You don't like it, don't join the force.

Rules are meant to be obeyed, before you join the FRSC, you are given a code of conduct book which you read understand and sign. If you cannot stick to the rule, you are made an example to others. Thats what has happened. Its better than a month suspension without pay.

Can't they be reprimanded and asked to go and take it off? Must you cut it publicly/privately? It's just wrong.

on the spot is how it has always been n that is what discipline for military or paramilitary entails.

No one said she cannot have long hair. As long as u put on the uniform, you fold the hair. If u check the picture u will notice a lady with her hair fold.

Its just like crime rate in Nigeria. Compare when death by firing squad was the in thing, every parent will take time to teach there kids good values to avoid public disgrace. While now even politicians who are somebody's father or mother are the once stealing.

Why is her hair going below her shoulders?
Didn't she see that in the service rules for uniformed agencies before joining?
Please forget the hue and cry here.
The FRSC commander is in order here.
Social Media as good as it is cannot be the yardstick for measuring disciplinary actions in the military and paramilitary. There are service rules.
Whichever Oga questions this commander should be questioned because the worst corruption (no be only money matter) is when a junior officer breaks the rules and cannot be called to order for fear of reprimand from who she knows.
