Tinubu will be a bad loser if Fashola gets impeached. 2011 will definately be interesting i hope some people dont pay with thier lives though as Williams did in 2007.

i dont think that fight is neccessary cos they are bird of same feather.

It will be sad if indeed Tinubu goes ahead with this rubbish.

Sources confirmed that if Tinubu impeaches Fashola, AC will definitely loose Lagos state in the subsequent election, as Fashola will decamp to Labour Party, and then will use power of incumbency to return himself as Governor in 2011.

Which kind contradiction be dis one? person wey dem impeach still get power of incumbency?.

I am with BRF all the way but he has to be very careful ,Nigerians are very fickle ,Tinubu camp may come up with one abracadabra and people will just forget all Fashola's good works so far.

A Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN) has said the alleged plan to impeach him by the House of Assembly was only a speculation which emanated from the imagination of his detractors.

He also commented on the relationship between him and his predecessor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, assuring that it is cordial.

The governor, who was not categorical on whether he would seek renomination in 2011, said the party would decide when the time is ripe.

In an advertorial titled, My Relationship with Asiwaju and Impeachment Rumours,

Fashola acknowledged what he described as ‘a progressive tension’ within the Action Congress (AC) following the remarks of the Speaker of House of Assembly, Alhaji Yemi Ikuforiji, during the 2010 budget presentation.

He said since then, rumours, speculations, innuendos and outright lies over his relationship with Asiwaju Tinubu have grown despite refutations by his administration, his former boss and other party leaders.

He said the speaker’s remarks on the spread of projects in the state marked AC out as a party of ideas, adding: "We have taken the suggestion in good faith and we are working together as always."

The governor denied any impeachment move by the legislators against him, lamenting that that detractors wrongly linked the non-existing impeachment plot to another imaginary frosty relationship between him and Tinubu.
