The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) on the 17th of February 2017 conferred its prestigious award of Honorary Fellow to the Chairman/CEO of NASCO Group, Dr. Attia Nasreddin. The NIMN stated that the award was in acknowledgement of Attia Nasreddin’s significant contributions to the development of the marketing profession in Nigeria.

The award which was conferred to Attia Nasreddin at a ceremony put to together in his honor at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos. During the event, NIMN announced that it singled out Dr. Nasreddin as one of Nigeria’s finest in the Marketing industry, which is underscored by the fact that NASCO brand has stood the test of time since 1963, and especially under his management oversight in the past two decades. The importance of the award itself is further underscored by the fact that it was approved by the Council, the Marketing apex body in Nigeria.

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria was established by an Act of the National Assembly No. 25 of 2003 with a chartered status. It has responsibility for regulating and controlling the practice of marketing in Nigeria.
