Good evening Gazzuz. Thanks for always being there for us. I visited my brother this evening and all he did was complain about his car. He recently purchased from a previous owner and car has never behaved since. The car is Accent 2014. He complained that the car has poor acceleration and low power and will usually go of when ac is turned on. All these have persisted despite changing coils and plugs. I started engine and noticed car was not idling properly, was just going up and down. Car hesitates a little when pedal is depressed. He also said the car will sometimes just pick a day to behave like brand new. Please what will you advice he checks or change to solve this problem. I was also wondering if you’d be willing to accept the car in your workshop. Thanks

Boss, please can you recommend a coolant for my 1998 Honda CRV. I'm removing the water for coolant. The water is too brownish
|Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by frebor(m): 1:57pm On Dec 08, 2020|
Brownish water may be from rust in the cooling system. Be prepared for leaks after changing to coolant.
You can replace with Honda Type 2 coolant or any ethylene glycol based product. Drain the system properly (raditior and engine) to get the bad stuff out.

What's the best advice? Should I continue using water?

Boss, can you recommend Honda accord 2008? Is their any regular fault associated with the car, like its 2004 counterpart that always have leg problem. Can average person without a deep pocket maintain it? Thank you.
|Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by frebor(m): 3:00pm On Dec 08, 2020|
If there's no leak, no overheating and you don't top up the radiator everyday, and your fuel consumption is okay by you, stick to water.
Your car probably runs the fans directly, so the engine will definitely not reach operating temperature.
Reverting to coolant will mean you have to replace radiator, thermostat and some pipes or you may be lucky.

Gazzuzz, thanks for the help so far. After changing my 2006 Sienna Cylinders, the overheating has stopped, but it came up with code P0340- Camshaft Position Sensor A circuit (Bank 1 or Single Sensor).
Please what could be the cause and likely solution to this.

Hello Sir. I got an ES 350 2010 Lexus from the US. However, the catalyst was indicated as not been there when the vehicle was scan. How can this be replaced and what is the cost? Finally, what is the effect of the absence of the catalyst ? Is there any alternative to the catalyst? Thanks for your prompt response

Gazzuzz, radautoworks, Blackbishop una expertise is needed. My car steering was stiff yesterday. I parked and checked everything I could. Later noticed that the abs cable was touching the tyre. I just touched the cable and adjusted it. The car came back to life. Later at night, it became a bigger issue. Instrument cluster went haywire. Speedometer stopped working, brake light came on, steering stiff to turn, Rpm misbehaving, fuel gauge going upandan. I still drove it for about 4 hrs cos of traffic going home.
I scanned the car this morning and saw p0500 speed sensor. I checked the cable again and noticed that it don cut.
I managed to connect it back but the problem persists. Is it possible for the sensor to have damaged prolly for driving car for too long?
What step to take next? I don park am.
I dey wait jejely for una response. Others with experience like this can help too. Tnx.
