The Significance And Meaning Of Easter by EternalBeing: 8:25am On Apr 16, 2017
Truth be told, Atheists, Muslems, Christians, Herbalist, Traditionalists and the totality of Humanity, this Jesus guy changed all our lives forever. That's the unquestionable undeniable irrefutable indisputable incontrovertible incontestable TRUTH! He showed Humanity that the most dreaded and feared enemy of Man can be vanquished afterall. The meaning of Easter - What does it mean and signify? "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." Matthew 28:6. Before
The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all. Easter, also called Pascha (Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.

Most Christians refer to the week before Easter as "Holy Week"—it contains the days of the Easter Triduum, including Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Maundy and Last Supper, as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and death of YAHSHUA CHRIST JESUS. In Western Christianity, Eastertide, or the Easter Season, begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, ending with the coming of the fiftieth day, Pentecost Sunday. In Eastern Christianity, the season of Pascha begins on Pascha and ends with the coming of the fortieth day, the Feast of the Ascension.

Easter and the holidays that are related to it are feasts which do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian or Julian calendars which follow only the cycle of the sun; rather, its date is determined on a lunisolar calendar similar to the Hebrew calendar. The First Council of Nicaea established two rules, independence of the Jewish calendar and worldwide uniformity, which were the only rules for Easter explicitly laid down by the council. No details for the computation were specified; these were worked out in practice, a process that took centuries and generated a number of controversies. It has come to be the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or soonest after 21 March, but calculations vary.
Easter is linked to the Jewish Passover by much of its symbolism, as well as by its position in the calendar. In many languages, the words for "Easter" and "Passover" are identical or very similar. Easter customs vary across the Christian world, and include sunrise services, exclaiming the Paschal greeting, clipping the church, and decorating Easter eggs (symbols of the empty tomb). The Easter lily, a symbol of the resurrection, traditionally decorates the chancel area of churches on this day and for the rest of Eastertide. Additional customs that have become associated with Easter and are observed by both Christians and some non-Christians include egg hunting, the Easter Bunny, and Easter parades. There are also various traditional Easter foods that vary regionally.
Today, the meaning of Easter, for million of Christians, is that of honoring and recognizing Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, and His glorious promises of eternal life for all who believe in Him.
All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don't believe what God has testified about his Son. And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life. (1 John 5:10-12, NLT)
“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3b-4, KJV)
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9, NLT)
HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY!

That's the unquestionable undeniable irrefutable indisputable incontrovertible incontestable TRUTH! He showed Humanity that the most dreaded and feared enemy of Man can be vanquished afterall.
I watched true life story movies like Troy, Hercules, SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND, Agora, Cleopatra, Caligular, etc.. and had a small insight into the wanton killings, lovelessness, satanic immorality, cannibalistic and animistic transformation that was fast to make the world to self-destruct just before the timely intervention of the Birth of JESUS Christ that showed them the Truth. Men lived like animals those days because they thought we die and end like animals; no afterlife, no judgement, no Power in being Holy. That was what they thought. If the exemplary Jesus was not born, the sane world as we know it today would not exist. Indeed, HE already saved the world by showing that death is not the end of Man; and that sane holiness is true Love; very possible.

Can you imagine what the world would have become had it being JESUS did not rise from the dead?!
John 3:19 "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world" True Love is Holiness
Thank you LORD YAHSHUA CHRIST JESUS, you are indeed the Savoir of the world. Before Jesus came, men lived like animals thinking there's is no usefulness for being good, no hope of conquering death and living forever.

"Nor is it strange that the Roman Empire at this period exhibited such a scene of moral pollution. There was nothing in either the philosophy or the religion of heathenism sufficient to counteract the influence of man's native depravity. In many instances the speculations of the pagan sages had a tendency, rather to weaken, than to sustain, the authority of conscience. After unsettling the foundations of the ancient superstition, the mind was left in doubt and bewilderment; for the votaries of what was called wisdom entertained widely different views even of its elementary principles. The Epicureans, who formed a large section of the intellectual aristocracy, denied the doctrine of Providence, and pronounced pleasure to be the ultimate end of man."

"CONDITION OF THE WORLD AT THE BIRTH OF JESUS
A solemn period of the world's destiny was approaching; the sky was overshadowed with darkness and filled with sinister omens.
In spite of the efforts of the initiates, polytheism, throughout Asia, Africa, and Europe, had terminated only in the downfall of civilization. The sublime cosmogony of Orpheus, so gloriously chanted by Homer, had not been attained, and the only explanation possible is that human nature found great difficulty in maintaining a certain intellectual altitude."

I enjoy the communual worship, praise and dancing to show the ever deseving Lord; the Giver of Life that we are sincerely grateful. "One shall chase 1,000 but two shall not just chase 2,000 but 10,000" It also has a geometrical proliferation effect. I receive multiple fold of answered Prayers, Blessings and Victory than what I would have if I prayed alone at home.

YES! Because, behavioural scientific research has shown that the more u condemn wickedness and other bad habits the more repulsive they appear to you. "Silence means consent, u know!" Even, when u r not fully holy yet, because "the abundant of the heart the mouth speaketh", when u consistently evangelize u'll invariably grow in Purity and Holiness.
A cultist heard Don Moen and Chris Devan songs filtering into his room from my friend's room for some days and he came to him weeping and repented. If u allow GOD use what HE gave you, your phone ringing tone, ur stereo at home, etc... can touch a Soul.
Besides, u follow ur evangelism group to preach to people at bear parlour yesterday, would it be easy for u to go and sit down there tomorrow and say "Madam give me 5 bottles there!"
Or you gave ur boss a trackt and preached to him, next day will u be comfortable to wear cloths showing ur boobz to the office?! If u r sincere with yourself and serious with your Life, evangelize!!!

Easter simply means we should be bold enough to speak out to the powers that be without fearing the consequences
