I checked from neco website.

Which state is he from? 148 should give him admission under any of the 36 states quota
Checked for 2 pupils, 116 and 132 and are both Qualified for admission under state quota

Are you serious? 129 and 139 didn't get admission for Anambra State. 148 candidate is from Abia.

No state in Nigeria has a cut off above 139.I know of a girl who scored 148 and is listed as qualified for Queen's College, Lagos. She is from Ogun state.

I think you should contact the school ASAP.This is the season when people will start doing slot in and bribery.

I am sure the cut off mark for IMO and Anambra indigenes is 150. 149.9 is not qualified for selection.

156 and above is national merit. The system is so confusing. I know a child who is qualified with a score of 56(28%)(Taraba state) but a child with 149(74.5%)(IMO) is not qualified. I don't even know the exact cut off for the Taraba. It could be way below 50.

You can say that again @bolded. Cut off for some states in the north is below 10.

The admission status has been uploaded in the result page. Recheck your wards result to see which school he is admitted to. For those admitted, the place written "qualified or not qualified for selection" has changed to "admitted to so so and so school". Those not admitted, what was written remained unchanged.

My nephew's profile page still remains as it was- "qualified for selection under national merit". His admission status isn't reflected. He scored 159. Are there other ways to check?
