MEND could have focussed more on the proposed SPDC relocation as that could tie in with their supposed objective of "emancipating" the Niger-Delta.

Their other comment on the corruption allegations could be seen as a cheap political stunt.

The Senate should do her job, with or without dubious press statements.
So they shouldn't ask how their wealth was embezzled by their prodigal son.

You have a point.

But if they knew this much, couldn't they have blown the whistle earlier?

To me this administration is too disorganized? All the corruption fight is on media and only on the opposition party. Even the way this country is now, they can't even deliver on mudain needs of governance but keep acusing people of corruption on media in order to distract Nigerians from the reality of their failures on ground. This government always allow emotion to overide their senses. Let them invite Jonathan and see what will happen in this country. It is then we will all know that there is differences between media propaganda and reality of life. This government should go to work and stop looking for who to blame for failing so far.

With his actions and inactions he destroy the future of many Nigerians and yet many calls him their hero. GEJ u re big disappointment just like PMB, Ben Bruce, Shehu Sani. All Nigerian politicians even with their degrees are senseless beasts. That goes to show that no matter how educated a black man is, you can never lighten up his mind to benefit mankind. Rather they steal, loot, plunder and destroy. Nothing good can be achieved by blacks as u can see that black Africa remains the most backward continent on earth.
The video below says it all.

The desperate attempt to tarnish the image of Gej with all sort of news items even when such items are purely based on rumours, assumptions n conjectures makes it look as if destroying Gej is the ultimate panacea to our problems, but time n succeeding events shall tell.

Though GEJ is a criminal I do not back this move!! How many presidents from the north/west who stole so much have been able to appear before that senseless house of fraud?
you said Johnathan is a criminal, pls can you show one instance where Johnathan ask anyone to steal, diverts or misappropriates any money for his personal use?,yes officials may have stolen money under him which was wrong but same is happening now n people are been protected because they belong,it's not possible to completely stop official theft but whoever is caught should be dealt with in his/her personal capacity n not involving their superiors where they are not complicit in anyway.

Good name is better than silver and gold.
Do you see how corruption toga can bring someone's name to disrepute and turn him to an object of mockery even by men of low estate.
You're not far from the truth.

Whether mend back or not, with the damning evidence on ground Jonathan has a case.
Funny how you will see people rushing here to support when they don't know that the man is accused not by our local intelligence but foreign of selling a $500billon asset for $1.2billion and he shared the money to the Hausa, IBO and Yorubas. Yes, no tribalism while he was sharing the money.
God bless you, sometimes I wonder if we (the youth) have any sense of reasoning or individualism. The so call leaders ar always united wen looting our future, but we ar divided, some wil support APC blindly claiming patriotic citizen while others will support PDP. Some of these leaders stole enough money that can build minimum of 10 modern hospitals n schools. While you nd I dt struggle to earn 500k per year will b on every forum defended dem. I hope we get it right one day

Thanks dear. Many people don't know the consequences of what he is accused of and some of the foreign thieves he connived with are being prosecuted by their government but here we shout witch hunting.
Dude is been fingered for selling an oil field contains billions of barrels of oil, worth $500 billion for petty $1.2billion. He deserved to be under house arrest until proven innocent cause that money can purchase 10 African countries with change.

All I see there is rented irrelevant and directionless nonentities working for their original paymasters (apc) this terrorist group was used by apc to carry out a failed assassination attempt on His Excellency Chief, Dr. Goodluck Ebere Jonathan in 2010. They were and remains a terrorist organization, they also claimed to be agitating for the emancipation of Niger Delta, yet they keep poking their noses on the affairs of the Regional Government of Nigeria, especially when the name of Jonathan (their hit target) is mentioned.
