Man United has always pride herself as one of the trully global club in Europe, on thursday last week in a game against Anderlecht some fans were electrocuted in Calabar, Nigeria watching there favorite football club; Man United. Though Man United has since send it condolence on it social media handle to the families of the deceased, but died hard fans in Nigeria and Africa would be asking for more when Man United plays Burnley tomorrow. Atleast the traditional black hand band or a minute silence would show how much Man United recognizes it fans in Africa and confirms it claims of being a truly global brand.
WE ARE ALL WATCHING TOMORROW TO SEE HOW MAN UNITED HANDLES THIS!!!!!!!!

It all depends on premiership organisers. .. mind u at a public viewing centre a lot of people supporting other clubs are there too. If they wear black arm band I think it will be for Ugo Ehiogu. Man utd tried by that recognition. Rip to the dead.

The story is just embarrassing.
We should focus on our govt especially local councillors making safety a priority. Indications prove that the said electric pole had been in a precariously state for a long time, even crashed a couple times before, yet nothing was done to avert the mishap that eventually snatched these unsuspecting lives.

Truth is, any one could have fallen victim of their fate as such dangerously dangling poles can be seen around us, yet no one is complaining until another set of unsuspecting lives are cut short again. So instead of campaigning for stupid tributes, the best way to honour their memory is for their death to serve as a call to action for govt and prevent such reoccurrence.

RIP to the sons, graduates, husbands and fathers among them.
