Dear Church Chorister,
In a bid to make us dance by force to whatever you're singing (especially during the Thanksgiving services), pls stop threatening us with fear-filled irritating statements like...
"Ur mates are in the prison, some are in the mortuary, ur legs are still complete, you're even alive to see the second quarter of the year and you can't dance to God?"
You dishonor the Man in Christ!
The Man in Christ has been raised far above all those!
You don't praise God by elevating the works of the devil in the lives of others... That's dishonor.
Just imagine there was a victim of such in the congregation or just passing by and hears u, how will the person feel? Will that still bring glory to God?
Yes we should be grateful and thankful to God for every little thing but not by elevating the works of the devil. Again I say: THAT'S DISHONOR!!
We give thanks to God for all He has done for us in His son.
*Thanks be to God for:
-He has redeemed us
-He daily loads us with benefits in Christ
-He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings
-He indwells us forever
-He has raised us far above principalities and press
-He has given us power to thread upon serpents and scorpions
-He provides our needs according to His riches in glory
-in Him we have the forgiveness of sins
-He justified us
-He became our righteousness
-He gave us the power to become Sons
-He translated us to the supernatural
-in Him we have life everlasting
-He made us accepted in the beloved
All these and many more are what God has done for us in His son. Therefore, we praise Him even for what He'll still do for us in Christ.
Sing songs with the revelation of Christ and we'll dance and rejoice in the Holy ghost like they that are drunk.
Heb 13:15 BY HIM (Jesus) therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
