Hehehehehe, You just enjoy hunting My. MizColi down, don't ya?..... Lol, Tecno will sue you one day, you know... but the IR blaster isn't a new feature on smartphone... Even dated Nokia symbian phones sported it for file sharing.... XIAOMI is quite honorable to include it in about 87% of their Smartphone brands.....

Do you have an OTG cable? I wanna know if your XIAOMI redmi 4 can read a 500Gb Hard drive disk...

Don't let anybody fool you which phone will deliver enough power to power an external HDD not to talk of reading it.

I doubt if the almighty Samsung S8 will power an external HDD. No phone for now will.

The output phones supply OTG cable isn't enough to power an HDD I have tried it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Note 10.1 2012 which xiaomimi wan come power HDD he wan die grin

As for op dissing other phones on top a technology that was used as far back 2003 on Nokia 3650, sagem X7 and Sony Ericsson k700i, Sendo rubbish X grin even I molested this technology on my Sony Ericsson P800i

Just to set the record straight, my Huawei P9 reads data from my 1TB External Hard Drive easily with ES File Explorer.
