My Crazy View About Omar Farouk Mutallab by lawisong(m): 8:05pm On Jan 04, 2010
It was with shocked that we received the news of the 23 year old Nigerian lad that attempted to blow up a U.S passenger plane on Jesus’ birthday. However, after going through the story over and over again I decided to look at it from another angle which I thought is rather crazy yet considerable. The first thing I could not reconcile is how on earth an Al-qaeda bomb expert will prepare a faulty bomb. This is rather rare. I mean those guys are specialist and couldn’t have made such a silly mistake. Another thing that amazes me is how Muttallab, a graduate of mechanical engineering from a world renown university could fail to detonate a simple bomb when even our illiterate militants in the niger-delta can detonate the most complicated of bombs if shown what to do. Infact, any teenage Iraqi boy could have detonated that bomb anytime any day. Combining these two facts I’m beginning to feel that Muttallab might have been reluctant to blow up that plane considering the fact the he too will die. Perhaps the pressure from his masters was rather too much for him to resist, perhaps he was threatened to do it or have his entire family blown to pieces. Come to think of it, suicide is as uncommon as winter in Nigeria. How many times have we had cases of suicide in this country. Despite the hardship we face an average Nigerian will rather suffer than take his own life. So the young Mutallab might have also had this fear inherent in him. No doubt he supports the Islamic religion to the letters, he hates other religions and support terrorism but going to the extent of taking his own life might have been too much for the young lad but perhaps there were pressures that he could not overcome so he had to embark on the devilish venture. This made me think that he might have deliberately fail to blow off the plane so as to save his own life. He might have thought that it was better to languish in an American jail than to be dead. Or else, who can explain how a graduate of mechanical engineering from a world-class university would fail to detonate a bomb prepared by an al-qaeda bomb specialist. He could even had gone to the toilet in the plane and adequately detonated the bomb if doesn’t want to be seen. Why I think there were pressures from the terrorist group was because Mutallab was the perfect person they needed to do the job because he doesn’t look like an Arab in anyway, his accent is as clean as that of Barack Obama, he is very young and looks innocent. All these put together will weaken the suspicions at the airport. Anyway, maybe it’s the hand of God and we thank God for saving the lives of those innocent passengers.

As for the Nigerian leaders that keep condemning Mutallab’s action and even blaming his father for poor parenting, may God forgive them. I also believe strongly that Nigerian leaders should also be blamed for the action of Mutallab. If they had made our education system sound, Mutallab’s father wouldn’t have sent his son overseas for studies. Is not because of the poor educational standard in the country that prompted the father to take his son oversea were he can get a befitting education. Now the son ended up been exposed and indoctrinated by Islamist extremist. Perhaps if he had schooled here in his fatherland this shame brought upon the country would have been averted. So our leaders too have a hand in this.

Now to set the records straight, I vehemently condemn Muttallab’s action and I’m not in support of terrorism, however, I feel we should all not think in one direction but should also consider other possibilities that might have prompted Mutallab’s action. Anyway, the case trial comes up on Friday and to that effect, the boy’s parent will be traveling to Detriot. So I guess we should all keep our fingers crossed till then to hear the boy’s side of the story.

yeah, i know about that too but dont you think that if he was threatened or if his family was threatened then he may try to play smart by not letting his sponsors know his little game or they may come for his family. He may be talking tough to make everything look real and as such save his head and that of his loved ones. Al-qaeda network can never be underrated. They can trace you anywhere in the world. Well, na God sabi, my brother.

@Poster, I actually think the reason he was unable to set off the bomb, even as an engineering graduate, is simply because Al-Qaida did not necessarily train him well but sent him out as a dummy or toy soldier. From the much I have learned of the boy, I suspect he was already down where he needed to be for to want to commit suicide. He did try to detonate the bomb, only what he expected to happen, didn't. I think Al-Qaida used him here, I don't know why, and I am not sure if we will ever know it all but if you read the admissions from their end since the event, you almost get the sense that they did expect what happened.

guys you're making senses but that sound like a movie, check out this post

but for my own opinion i think this is an OPERATION FALSE FLAG 2? “DEMOCRACY” or “NEW WORLD ORDER”

War on terror begins since the incident of 9/11
Do you think it is really a terrorist attack? or propaganda?
http://www.rense.com/general21/was911mossad.htm
Google up the fact about the 9/11 attack to learn more,
why are they fighting a ghost in Afghanistan, or why are they still in Iraq even after breaking the civilians soul, Lebanon and Syria facing war since the fall of 9/11!
Do you think it’s all coincidence?

Nigeria is suffering from the same reputation Condemnation, i do believe we do not have any internet fraudsters what those yahoo guys do is just Child’s play because we can not develop sophisticated programs or virus that cause harm to computers breaking or revoking privacy and highly secured computers think about those capable of doing such but we are rated the Oga of Fraudsters every nation has thieves and robbers no doubt but we are not at the top and in piracy we do not pirate compare to some part of the world making billion of dollars annually from piracy, and if they are talking about bad governance that is our problem they don’t need to interfere
Kindly review obama’s speech
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkNpUEWIhd4
on his visit to Africa maybe you can fish out the reason why he purposely chooses to go to Ghana! If care is not taken Nigeria may suddenly become Afghanistan, Iraq, or Lebanon with missiles in the air everywhere while all these is their “NEW WORLD ORDER”
If Al-Qa-eeda are truly troubling the US that is Al-Qaeeda not ISLAM but if anything goes wrong they'll send ISLAM to trial and perhaps why not Al-Qaeeda trubles the Chinese, Russians Indians or other part of the world, and if Israel is an Islamic state they will also be in jeopardy but no one blame them for their atrocities
I guess Farouk issue is also a propaganda to gain support from the rest of the world against mother Nigeria a home of peace and unity imagine how will a bomb fails to detonate if packaged by a specialist if not a plot, and suicide bombing by a wealthy boy flexing around the world, we are not watching movie please lets wakeup and don’t be surprise the boy may be under training against trial day, May God Help us or else Nigeria may be in jeopardy in years to come unless Farouk tells the truth.
Lets foster on our homeworks so that we won’t become numskulls as those who are only after living the Americans dream, Nigerians are blessed with brains, talent ……… and so on which is the reason for the envies, do you hear any bla bla blab about other African countries, compare those alleged allegation against Nigerian with so many other nations you’ll see that we are far better but yet they want something from us

Up till date no heap of nuclear weapon have been discovered in Iraq. Now perhaps they want to use allegations of terrorism to gain access to our oil reserves too. When oyibo wan set you up, till you die you no go fit decode. God help us.

This failed terrorist and would-be killer of 300 innocent air travellers, Mr. Dickhead Mutallab, should be caged in the most excruciating circumstances conceivable, and forgotten there in the dark, dingy bowels of hell, under a regime of round-the-clock, indefinite solitary confinement, where he will have an entire lifetime to stew in regret and dispair.  While there, his diet should consist of card-board and dog chit, until he starves to death or hangs himself with his underwear.

With that singular terrorist act on Xmas day 2009, Mr. Mutallab effectively poisoned the future of ALL Nigerian passport holders who venture out of their home nation, such that many innocent travellers could be jailed on the strength of mere suspicion.  No fate could be severe enough for that despicable ape, and he will certainly rot in hell, both before and after he dies.

The very notion of all that planning and plotting being simply about Murtallab gaining access to 72 virgins in heaven is thoroughly revolting in the extreme, considering that as a spoilt rich boy in London, he could have paid for all the street whores he needed with his dad's looted wealth.
