'Please, people outside of Nigeria don't 'beg' or describe their actions as 'begging'. Every day there's an article on here about someone begging trump or putin begging someone else. Today's is that China is 'beggging' the US not to fight north korea. It's very awkward to use the term outside of the Nigerian context but begging isn't the same as asking, requesting or demanding and mistaking it for any of these is a sign of poor english.

This is begging

It's not a substitute for 'request'.
If it doesn't involve extreme degradation or powerlessness, it's not begging. Think critically the next time you want to announce that 'Tinubu begs Buhari to ________' or whatever you're going to write next.
