A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday granted bail to the leader of The Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on health grounds. Justice Binta Nyako however gave stringent conditions which include barring the IPOB leader from granting press interview while on bail.

Others are, no participation in any rally or being found in a crowd of more than 10 persons, bail in the sum of N100 m with three sureties in like sum. One of the sureties to be provided must be a highly placed person such as a senator, the second must be a highly recognised leader in the religion being practised by Kanu, which according to him is Judaism, also, the third surety must be a resident of Abuja, who must have a landed property in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to IPOB and members of Kanu's family, the bail conditions set by the judge is too stringent and unjust for the allegations to which Kanu is standing trial. What's your take on this?

These bail conditions are story for the gods, that's an indirect way of saying that he has not been released.
Tomorrow the news headlines will be filled with Kanu this and Kanu that and once again distracting the masses from their nonchalant attitudes towards good governance.

Nairaland front page will now be full of Kanu's news and the gullible underaged people we have here will allow it to become their latest employment job and lecture grounds.

For me, they should leave that man alone because following him up and down from now on will create more attention and international media incursions thereby making him more popular.
