Timeless, An Epic
They judge us before they get to know us The things we have to deal with to thrive They believe all we use is force But how else do we get to stay alive
Yet you stood strongly against them Your beliefs won't be bent And you held on to glorious stem Even when you breathed in life's atrocious scent
Then you got struck by cupid's arrow And hard you fell to a strange path Which made the straight road all the more narrow Was it still on the grand throne you sat?
Through you we did survive On thorny roads of life we had to live A journey we'll never make out of alive Paths we walked through before we could leave
For you it was never easy picking Seeing as u laid your seeds into the ground Tik tot tilt of the clock ticking Became a most deafening cacophony of sound
But that sweet nectar you will not be denied As you sought us for the sake of posterity Means to carry on the legacy you designed Yet, you always stood to seek clarity
