I have heard on several occasions in which the absence of rainfall has been attributed to a particular on-going road construction project.
In this part of the world, it is believed that the perfect period for road construction contracts be given out is during the dry season; and in the event there is an impending downpour while a project is still on-going, it is said that these construction companies do prevent the rain from pouring.
If these are actually true, are there scientific ways in which rainfall is prevented? Cos definitely these construction companies would not adopt any traditional means of preventing the rainfall.
