This method will work if you already rooted your android smartphone and installed a custom recovery before your android smartphone got locked.

If your android smartphone is not rooted and doesn't feature a custom click HERE
to see another method that doesn't involve Root access.

For those whose android smartphone is rooted and features a custom recovery please follow these steps.

1. DOWNLOAD

ZIP PATTERN PASSWORD DISABLE and send to your Sdcard via your Pc. Because at this point you cannot gain access to your android smartphone.

2. Insert the sdcard into your phone

3. Reboot into recovery mode

4. Flash the ZIP PATTERN PASSWORD disable zip file.

5. Reboot

6. Done!

Note: After carrying out these steps, password or pattern is still going to be visible. The only difference is that you would be able to unlock your android smartphone with any password or pattern you input. To turn this off, all you need to do is to create another password or pattern.
