Sell to who? how much do they make from sale of Nuclear weapons. These countries mostly develop their Nuclear warheads them selves. As for sale of conventional weapons they dont necessarily need wars to sell weapons. America sells weapons to other stable countries and also buys from them. Same with Russia and the other world powers. Dont believe the conspiracy theorists. america and russia has had a strained relationship since the start of the cold war in the sixties. It all still boils down to domination

1. Yes america troops were largely killed in Vietnam> But America has never claimed otherwise
2. The Japanese bombed pearl harbor at a time America was not even in the war. Anybody can throw a surprise. After america joined the war, the recorded a lot of successes in North Africa and Europe. American troops were largely involved in the D Day landing at Normandy. Japan surrendered after the Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and after taking a lot of losses from the Americans prior to that.
3. In Afghanistan, America ousted the Taliban and installed a democratic government. Insurgency is a continuum you can hardly ever quench it totally
4. They were defeated in iraq? are you okay?
5.In Somalia, two black hawks were shot down while 18 Americans were killed and about 70 wounded as against over 300 militia men killed. Maybe your idea of a disgrace is the body of a dead american being dragged on the streets by locals. But i had say that's a disgrace to the locals as an American soldier will be jailed for as much as sharing pictures of a dead enemy.
