Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos has stopped Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) from carrying out their operations on roads in the state. The order is with immediate effect. I Though details of the order are still sketchy, it was learnt that the governor harkened to complaints from motorists about the alleged illegal operations of the state officials. |
