Emeka sojourn to obodo oyinbo to look for environmental science work but instead got environmental cleaning work because he lacks the relevant qualifications for the job. He works three jobs a day , sweeping the streets ,laboratories and even cleans the local swamp. He is a good immigrant who helps keep the environment clean at all times. Emeka can be spotted on a garbage truck a t 6.30 am in the morning and by 3.p.m he is at the local high school lab cleaning after the students there. He has applied to be put on welfare several times only to be denied by the relevant authorities for unknown reasons.He earns 2.50 an hour and has been saving for the past 8 years for his imaginary wedding.
