Acting President Yemi Osinbajo did not swear in the two Ministers Stephen Ocheni (Kogi) and Suleiman Hassan (Gombe) amid the Federal Executive Council (FEC) yesterday.

Ocheni and Hassan had been screened and affirmed by the Senate a week ago however are yet to be confirmed.

Ocheni is to supplant the late James Ocholi who passed on over a year ago, while Hassan is to assume control from Mrs Amina Mohammed, who resigned to become the United Nations Deputy Secretary General.

Yesterday's FEC meeting which started at 10am and kept going three hours, was attended by dominant part of the Ministers and other cabinet members.

President Muhammadu Buhari was absent, in the wake of leaving for the UK on Sunday night for further therapeutic check-ups.
