A joyful and lovely wedding ceremony in India turned into a blood bath as wall collapses on top of the guest celebrating the wedding, killing 25 on the spot and injuring more than 28 according to Indian Police.

Police official Bharat Meena said that the 12-foot high wall collapsed late on Wednesday because of heavy rain, crashing down on the wedding party during dinner in a marriage hall in the western state of Rajasthan. Meena added that five children were among the dead.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a Twitter post he was pained by the accident. Weddings are elaborate affairs in India with even people of modest income inviting large numbers of guests to receptions, often in purpose-built halls.

I will advice the prime minister of India to send a bill to both "Sabha", "Lok" and "Rajya", prohibiting Indians wedding reception in purpose-built Hall.
Better having the reception in an open surface, cos the artistic dances we do watch in Bollywood can weaken structures and eventually leading to the collapse of the structures.

Prevention is better than cure.
